1. Eligibility for Returns

Our refund and return period lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have passed, we may not be able to offer a refund or exchange except as required under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, unopened, and in the same condition as received.
  • The product must be returned in its original packaging with proof of purchase (receipt, order confirmation, or invoice).

Please do not return any items directly to the manufacturer.

2. Non-Returnable and Exempt Items

Certain items are exempt from return due to health, hygiene, or safety reasons. These include:

  • Perishable goods such as food, frozen items, and other consumables.
  • Intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids/gases.
  • Gift cards, vouchers, and some health and personal care products.

Once dispatched, perishable food items cannot be returned unless proven defective or damaged upon receipt.

3. Refunds Process

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed within 3–7 working days to your original payment method.

Refunds are issued for the value of the item(s) returned, excluding delivery or return shipping costs, unless the product was faulty or incorrectly supplied.

4. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund after the stated period:

  • Check your bank or card account again.
  • Contact your card issuer, as posting delays can occur.
  • If still unresolved, contact your bank.

5. Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for a refund. Sale or discounted items cannot be refunded unless they are faulty or damaged upon delivery.

6. Exchanges

We only replace items that are defective, damaged, or incorrect at the time of delivery.

7. Gifts

If the product was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you may receive a gift credit for the value of your return once it is received.
If the order was not marked as a gift, the refund will be issued directly to the original purchaser.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, except where the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. If a refund is issued, the original shipping cost may be deducted.
  • For high-value returns, we recommend using a tracked or insured courier service. Mavistic Foods is not responsible for lost or undelivered returned parcels.

9. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
If a product is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under UK law.
